What is Scrum?

Scrum is an agile development methodology used in software development. Scrum is an adaptable, fast, flexible and effective agile framework designed to deliver value to the customer throughout the project’s development. The primary goal of Scrum is to satisfy the customer’s needs through an environment of transparency in communication, collective responsibility, and continuous progress.

What roles can you find in a scrum team?

Scrum master: The person who leads the team to follow the rules and processes of the methodology. The Scrum Master manages the reduction of project bottlenecks and works with the Product Owner to maximize ROI. The Scrum Master is in charge of keeping Scrum up-to-date, providing coaching, mentoring and training to teams when they need it.

Product Owner: He is the representative of the interested parties and customers who use the software. They focus on the business part and are responsible for the ROI of the project. They translate the project vision to the team, verify the benefits in the stories to be included in the product backlog, and regularly prioritize them.

Team: A group of professionals with the necessary technical knowledge who develop the project together and realize the stories committed to at the beginning of each sprint.
