What is containerization?

Containerization is a form of virtualization where applications run in isolated user spaces, called containers, using the same shared operating system (OS). One of the advantages of containerization is that a container is essentially a fully packaged and portable computing environment.

This course helps students build the foundational knowledge and skills in container management through hands-on experience with containers, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, which are needed for a variety of roles, including developers, administrators, and site reliability engineers.
