PRINCE2 Agile® blends the flexibility and responsiveness of agile with the defined governance of PRINCE2®. The training and certification is delivered at two levels:
- PRINCE2 Agile Foundation provides the fundamentals of the PRINCE2 method so you can embed PRINCE2 Agile into your day-to-day work practices, testing knowledge of PRINCE2 governance requirements, agile concepts and techniques and the interface between them.
- PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner takes the knowledge acquired at Foundation level and applies it to the workplace, using real-world management examples.

Prerequisites
PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation
There are no prerequisites for completing the PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation course. Those who have no prior knowledge of PRINCE2® are entitled to receive certification, as their acquisition is the subject of this training.
PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner
To take the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner examination, you must hold PRINCE2 Agile Foundation or any PRINCE2 certification.
Other accepted certificates are: Project Management Professional® (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management® (CAPM), IMPA Levels A, B, C and D®(Certified Projects Director).
PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certificates are valid for 3 years. To remain accredited, Practitioners can re-sit the exam, or log CPD points through our online subscription, My PRINCE2.

PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner
Pre-requisite qualifications: Delegates wishing to take this examination must hold a current PRINCE2® Agile Foundation, PRINCE2® Foundation or PRINCE2® Practitioner qualification.
Training: Though formal training is not mandatory, attendance at an accredited PRINCE2 Agile course is strongly recommended.
Material permitted: The examination is ‘open book’, i.e. the PRINCE2 Agile guide is allowed for reference during the examination.
Examination duration: 2 hour and 30 minutes
Exam language: Exam is only available in English
Format: The examination is scenario-based i.e. the questions relate to a case study (referred to as the ‘Scenario’).
The Scenario is included in the Scenario Booklet (see also the sample papers available on AXELOS.com) along with 4 sets of additional information necessary to answer each section of questions.
There are 5 sets of multiple choice questions (MCQs) in the Question Booklet, and each set tests particular learning outcomes from the candidate’s course of study, (see the table below).
There are 50 questions in total and each question is worth 1 mark.
Pass mark: Candidates are expected to achieve a score of 60% (30 marks) or higher in order to pass the examination and be awarded certification.
