The practices are also enriched with additional guidance on the capability model based on the ITIL 4 maturity model.

This module provides practical guidance on the processes and activities of the Problem Management practice and their roles in the service value chain, the organisations and people involved in the practice, information and technology supporting the practice, and considerations for partners and suppliers.

Target group

The ITIL 4 Practitioner: Problem Management practice module is for IT professionals who want to reduce the likelihood and impact of incidents by identifying actual and potential causes of incidents and manage workarounds and known errors.

Course structure

This course will help you to:

  • Increase reliability of IT services
  • Reduce losses and costs caused by IT service unavailability or degradation
  • Fulfil service quality targets
  • Reduce technical debt
  • Anticipate utilization of IT support resources
  • Measure, assess and develop the Incident Management practice capability in your organisation by using the ITIL Maturity Model.

Retake

With the retake if an unsuccessful outcome occurs for your initial exam, then the re-sit option it is enabled. When your official exam results become available, you are notified by e-mail to schedule your re-sit exam. It will be conducted through online proctoring offering you flexibility to take it from your home or office, at the time of your convenience. You have up to 6 months to prepare and take your re-sit exam from the date of your initial exam.

ITIL® 4 Foundation + exam is a prerequisite for studying Problem Management.
