A management practice is defined as a set of organizational resources designed for performing work or accomplishing an objective.

There are 34 ITIL management practices in total, representing some of the most practical resources of the framework. We start with the management practices covered in the ITIL 4 Foundation, based on the practice guides. The practices are also enriched with additional guidance on the capability model based on the ITIL 4 maturity model.

Course description

This module helps to maximise the number of successful service and product changes by ensuring that risks have been accurately assessed, authorizing changes to proceed, and managing the change schedule.

Target group

This module is for IT professionals who want to prove and validate their skills in this specific practice area. The individuals can demonstrate their understanding and application of the key concepts, principles, value and challenges of the practice at both strategic and operational levels, maximising value of the Change Enablement practice in their everyday work.

Course structure

This course will help you to:

Ensure that changes and their components are realised in an effective, safe, controlled and timely manner to meet stakeholders’ change-related expectations and needs
Minimise the negative impacts of change
Balance effectiveness, throughput, governance, compliance and risk control for all changes in the defined scope
Be adaptive to meet the needs of various approaches to change development
Measure, assess and develop the Change Enablement practice capability in your organisation by using the ITIL Maturity Model.

Retake

With the retake if an unsuccessful outcome occurs for your initial exam, then the re-sit option it is enabled. When your official exam results become available, you are notified by e-mail to schedule your re-sit exam. It will be conducted through online proctoring offering you flexibility to take it from your home or office, at the time of your convenience. You have up to 6 months to prepare and take your re-sit exam from the date of your initial exam.

Prerequisites

ITIL® 4 Foundation + exam is a prerequisite for studying Change Enablement.
