0. Introduction and Orientation in AI Tools
- Why AI and why now — what large language models can and cannot actually do
- Getting familiar with AI tools and when to use which one
- Platforms for different AI tools — browser, desktop applications, mobile, and integrations with corporate tools
- Basic AI setup and personalization to fit your own working style
- Cheatsheet: which AI is best suited for which type of output (process models, requirements, tests, mockups, etc.)
All examples and methods in this course are designed to be applicable across all commonly used AI tools (MS Copilot, Google Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude).
1. How to Give AI Tasks It Can Understand
- Why prompt quality matters (a live demonstration of a weak vs. strong prompt)
- The RCTF framework: Role – Context – Task – Format
- Action verbs — how a single word can change the entire output
- Iterating and refining the output
2. Business Analysis with AI — Hands-On
In this section, we will work on real-world business analysis tasks and explore how to effectively leverage AI and the techniques covered in the previous section. We will select from the following topics:
- BACCM from a brief assignment
- BPMN process mapping — AS-IS / TO-BE
- GAP analysis — a structured gap table with priorities
- Business Rules and Decision Tables — translating rules into a decision table
- Business Requirements and BRD — from a single stakeholder statement to a complete document
- Use Case specifications, test scenarios, and test data
- Creating Epics and User Stories from requirements
- Using AI with MS Office tools
3. AI for Teamwork and Repetitive Tasks
- How to share successful AI tools and workflows across the team
- How to provide colleagues with an AI tool backed by a defined knowledge base (NotebookLM, Copilot Notebooks)
- We will explore how to automate recurring analytical tasks by building an AI assistant. Examples of assistants we will build:
- Generating a User Story or task from a brief
- An assistant with a knowledge base focused on a specific regulation (DORA, AI Act, etc.)
- Checking the completeness of an analytical document
- An assistant to help you prepare for a challenging meeting
- An advisory board that provides multiple perspectives on a given topic
