Course description
Our course focuses on the methodology, background, planning, implementation, techniques, metrics, risks, and further development of software usability testing in line with ISTQB recommendations.
In addition to exam questions, we also place strong emphasis on real-life examples and tasks related to usability testing. We analyze both good and bad user interfaces, break down all errors, and propose corrections. We also cover GUI design principles and industry best practices that improve user experience and software ergonomics, ensuring high usability.
Main topics:
Basic concepts:
You will understand the fundamental principles of usability, user experience (UX), and accessibility, and learn methods for evaluating each of them.
Risks in usability, UX, and accessibility:
You will identify and analyze typical risks associated with usability, user experience, and accessibility throughout the entire development lifecycle.
Usability and accessibility standards:
You will become familiar with key usability and accessibility standards, including ISO standards and WCAG guidelines, and their practical application.
