Course description
In November 2002, the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) was founded with the aim of establishing further internationalization and harmonization of the certification program in software testing. Since then, a fully recognized and globally harmonized ISTQB certification scheme has been established. The ISTQB certification program is divided into three levels:
Foundation Certificate
Advanced Certificate
Expert Certificate
At the Expert level, you can develop your skills in various directions. One of these is Test Management. This level consists of three modules: Strategic Test Management, Operational Test Management, and Managing the Test Team. Anyone who successfully completes all modules may consider themselves an expert and may officially use the title Certified Tester Expert Level (CTEL).
While the Foundation and Advanced levels focus on knowledge, comprehension, application, and analysis, the Expert level is focused on evaluation and creation. You attend two days of training and also complete workplace assignments based on your own case. This allows you to immediately apply the theory in practice.
