Course description
During the course, students will gain hands-on experience configuring monitoring of DBMS systems such as MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, InfluxDB, and Elasticsearch.
Course code: ZADM
The aim of this course is to explain in detail the concepts and approaches to monitoring database management systems (DBMS) and to provide practical knowledge needed for configuring DBMS monitoring using Zabbix. The course covers various native Zabbix approaches for collecting database performance metrics and retrieving DBMS-related data through Zabbix Agent 2, ODBC, and API requests. Furthermore, the course includes optimization of database data collection using dependent Low-level Discovery (LLD), which minimizes the impact on database performance.
