Business Analysis for Project Managers – Practical

Course code: BAFPMP

The course focuses on the activities and tools of business analysis in the context of changes within a corporate environment, carried out primarily in the form of projects. The course content provides key information necessary for the collaboration between the roles of Project Manager and Business Analyst.

This course is based on the international standard BABOK® (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge), in its latest version published by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®).

This extended version (“Extended”) additionally covers specific topics and a set of exercises related to the pre-project phase (feasibility study), including the creation of a Business Case and methods of evaluating its fulfillment.

It also introduces the discipline of Change Management, including its role in combination with Project Management and Business Analysis for successfully achieving the expected benefits of change. Moreover, it places this in the context of the entire change life cycle – “preparation – implementation – operation” (As-Is – Transition – To-Be).
