The prices of the ITIL® and PRINCE2® tests will become more expensive. How to save money and what is changing?

PeopleCert comes with a new price list and a change in the rules for its exams, effective from 1 February 2022.

What does this mean for you?

• Paper tests will no longer be feasible. Exams can only be taken online and are more expensive. The course of the test is checked by the supervisor using your camera.
• Mock Exam will be online and available at an additional cost.
• When ordering the exam, it is necessary to pay the mandatory e-Book Core Guidance surcharge. This is a digital book that will help you increase your chances of passing your exam. The exam cannot be ordered without it. A printed version is also available but at an additional cost.
• The Take2 Re-sit option (2 attempts to pass the exam) is still available. You can use the opportunity to pass again immediately after the first unsuccessful attempt at the exam. However, no later than 6 months after the first attempt.

How to save up to CZK 8,000?

It’s easy. If you purchase any ITIL® or PRINCE2® accredited training from us by 30 January 2022, we can guarantee that you will pay the original lower price stated in the course detail. With the planned price increase, this can save up to eight thousand Czech crowns.

How does on-line proctoring work?

On-line proctoring is nothing new in the world of education and is now used by many institutions. However, the price is higher in the tens of EUR compared to the paper form. These are the costs that PeopleCert invests in OLP supervisors, who monitor the entire course of your exam in detail through a webcam on your computer.

In addition to the camera, you need to download ExamShield software, which is currently only available for download in the Microsoft Store (for Windows). The version for Mac OS should be available from 1 February 2022. Detailed instructions, which will contain information on the options for booking the date, the necessary preparations, and the exam course, will be given to the applicant after ordering the certification. We will make sure that you complete the whole process correctly and that the process is comfortable, safe and without unexpected situations.
