ITIL® 4 is the latest iteration of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, which provides best practices for IT service management. It consists of a series of modules that cover various aspects of IT service management. We are pleased to announce that you can look forward to 2 new ITIL 4 extension modules coming soon! They are ITIL® 4 Specialist: Business Relationship Management and ITIL® 4 Specialist: IT Asset Management.
The ITIL® 4 Specialist: Business Relationship Management module is designed to help IT professionals develop and maintain positive relationships with their organization’s business partners. It covers topics such as understanding business needs, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and building effective communication channels between IT and business units. The module also emphasizes the importance of a customer-oriented approach to service management.
The ITIL® 4 Specialist: IT Asset Management module focuses on the management of an organization’s IT assets throughout their lifecycle. It covers topics such as asset identification, tracking and maintenance, as well as strategies to optimize asset utilization and reduce costs. The module also highlights the importance of aligning asset management with the organisation’s wider IT and business strategies.
