PRINCE2 2017 & PRINCE2 2009 Renaming

We would like to inform you that as of 1 January 2020, PRINCE2 2017 will be referred to as PRINCE2 6th edition and PRINCE2 2009 will be referred to as PRINCE2 5th edition. The reason behind this renaming is to ensure that the PRINCE2 language is aligned with that used by other frameworks in the industry.

PeopleCert and AXELOS have already started implementing changes to their websites, content and platforms, that will be completed by 1 January 2020.

These changes will also be reflected in our offer of courses by March 2020 at the latest. It will be primarily renaming PRINCE2 2017 and PRINCE2 2009 to PRINCE2 6th edition and PRINCE2 5th edition, on our website and in marketing materials. The changes will apply to all newly printed copies of instructions and support materials.
