ITIL 4 is on its way!

ITIL 4 is the latest updated version of ITIL, a popular, internationally recognized IT Service Management standard. More than 2,000 professionals took part in the ITIL Development Research Group and have helped steer the development and essential features of ITIL 4.

ITIL 4 will be released by AXELOS in Q1 2019.

• ITIL 4 will be compatible with the existing certification scheme. Individuals who have already certified will have their current certifications recognised in the new scheme.
• The core elements of ITIL will remain and will continue to derive from the experiences of thousands of specialists and experts. Research has confirmed that ITIL remains best practice for the ITSM industry.
• The update will include practical guidance on how ITIL is adopted in conjunction with practices such as DevOps, Agile and Lean.
